Badrinarayan (1929–2013) was a distinguished Indian painter, illustrator, writer, and folklorist, celebrated for his lyrical and poetic visual language. Born in Secunderabad, he studied at the Sir J. J. School of Art and developed a unique style inspired by Indian mythology, folklore, literature, and everyday life.
His works are characterized by delicate lines, vibrant colours, and dreamlike compositions that seamlessly blend fantasy with reality.
