Jyotee kolte
Jyotee Kolte is a contemporary Indian artist whose practice explores colour, perception, memory and the complexities of human experience. Trained at the J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, Kolte has developed a distinctive visual language that moves between painting, photography, mixed media and experimental forms.
Her works often transform familiar imagery and everyday experiences into layered, contemplative compositions. Colour plays a significant role in her practice, while her use of photography, text and unconventional materials allows her to explore ideas of identity, duality and the relationship between the visible and the imagined.
With a career spanning several decades, Kolte has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across India, including exhibitions in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. Her work continues to engage viewers through its poetic approach to colour, form and perception.
