Bhagwan Rampure
Bhagwan Rampure is an acclaimed Indian sculptor, born in 1962 in Solapur, Maharashtra. He trained in sculpture and modelling at the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, graduating in 1987. His artistic practice spans Bronze, Marble, Fibre and Wood, with a deep focus on capturing the character, emotion and essence of his subjects.
Over the course of his career, Rampure has created numerous monumental and commissioned sculptures, including the iconic Big Bull associated with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sultan Qaboos Rose in Muscat, and sculptures of prominent cultural and historical figures. He was also selected to create the monumental sculpture of Adi Shankaracharya for Ekatma Dham at Omkareshwar.
